This EP was born in concept during my time working at Big Bend National Park in West Texas. The solace of the desert landscape inspired many of my ideas and songs, particularly the deeply personal Lonesome Desert Stars and Tell Me the Story. The music video accompanying the EP was an adventure with my friends Julian and Mike through the Chisos mountains of Big Bend and the beauty that entailed.

The orchestra of dust is numerous, each grain contributing to a larger vision. First and foremost, I want to thank the talented and hardworking members of the band who played with me throughout my time in Austin:

Dana on standup
Eddie on fiddle
Valerie on uke
Carlos on mandolin
Cassie on drums

It doesn't end there. Many thankyous to everyone who appeared on the album: Hannah, Nick, Zach, River, Kevin, Lliam, Olivia, Cynthia, Nick, Dustin, Mike, Caroline and last, but not least, Charlie the dog.

I also wanted to extend a special thank you to Julian for helping with the video, Erin and Kevin for helping with recording, and River for walking me through some of the finer points of mixing.
